A PERSONAL NOTE
I spent over two decades working in a fast-paced healthcare role, and I know how easy it is to put your own well-being last while managing constant responsibilities. At the same time, I was navigating a family mental health crisis and my own stress-related health challenges. Eventually, I reached a point where I needed practical, sustainable ways to support myself — without stepping away from everyday life.
That’s when mindfulness and meditation became part of my routine. Not as a cure-all, but as simple, reliable tools that helped me pause, reset, and feel a little more steady, even on demanding days. Over time, those small practices made a meaningful difference in how I felt and how I moved through my life.
Now, I share these tools in ways that are realistic and approachable for people who are juggling a lot. I don’t believe you need to overhaul your life or carve out huge amounts of time to feel better. With a few intentional minutes a day, it’s possible to change how stress shows up in your body and mind.
That’s why I created Stress Less in 7 Minutes a Day — a short meditation challenge designed to fit into real schedules and real lives, offering a simple way to slow down, reconnect, and feel more grounded, starting right where you are.
